4K full spectrum video. That means visible light and invisible light. Both. Simultaneously. In total darkness if necessary, which in this line of work it usually is. The camera does not need the lights on. The lights being on does not help it. What it needs is something to be there and it will find it.

Full spectrum matters because of a simple problem that most cameras don't bother solving. The human eye covers a specific range of the light spectrum. A narrow range, actually, relative to what exists. Standard cameras are built to replicate what the human eye sees because that is what most people point cameras at. Paranormal investigators are not most people and what they are trying to document does not always operate in the range the human eye covers.

Spirits have been documented across the spectrum. Infrared. Ultraviolet. Frequencies that a standard camera renders as nothing because it was not built to look there. The Phasm Cam looks there. It looks everywhere. A presence that would be invisible to a phone camera, a standard DSLR, or the naked eye of every person in the room is not invisible to this. That is the point of it.

This camera was built specifically for paranormal investigation by people with significant field experience. Not adapted. Not modified. Built for this from the beginning. That distinction matters more than it might seem. A device built for a purpose understands the purpose in ways that a device repurposed cannot. The Phasm Cam was designed by people who have been in the rooms the Spooky Boys investigate and who built the camera around what those rooms require.
